Simplicity is a forward-thinking Web & Creative Agency based in Dunfermline, Scotland, we are committed to implementing and promoting sustainable practices that minimize our environmental impact. Recognizing the urgency of climate change and the necessity for immediate action, we have developed the following sustainability policy:

Energy Efficiency:

Our agency prioritises the use of laptops over desktops to reduce energy consumption. We understand that laptops, on average, use 80% less electricity than desktops. Furthermore, we encourage all staff to use power-saving modes and turn off devices at the end of the day, further reducing unnecessary energy usage.

Recycling and Waste Reduction:

We are dedicated to reducing waste and promoting recycling within our operations. This includes using recycled content in client-based projects wherever possible and encouraging clients to opt for recycled or FSC certified paper for printing needs. We believe in not only practicing these measures ourselves but also educating our clients and partners on the environmental benefits of using recycled materials. As an agency we hold an agreement with a waste management company so all our internal rubbish is safely recycled and removed from our premises.

Sustainable Commuting:

Recognising that transportation contributes significantly to carbon emissions, we have established a cycling policy. We encourage our staff to cycle to work when possible, reducing their individual carbon footprints and promoting healthier lifestyles. To support this, we part of the cycle to work scheme to help encourage staff.
This policy represents our commitment to conducting our business in an environmentally responsible manner. We will regularly review and update our practices to ensure their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments as required. We believe that through these efforts, we can contribute to a more sustainable future for all.
